Los Altos Tasting Room is the first wine tasting room in Los Altos by Byington Vineyard & Winery. Our contemporary Tasting Room with a high tech feel is a combination of authentic tasting room, wine bar, wine retail, and private and corporate event space.
Our tasting room provides an alternative to late afternoon cafes for meetings, and a great place to stop for a glass of wine or taste prior to dinner, purchase a bottle for dinner at a favorite restaurant, or join after dinner.
Tastings
We offer a new Tasting Flight every month.
- Each tasting is comprised of 5 1-ounce pours (equivalent to a glass of wine).
- The $15 offering is typically 2 white wines and 3 red wines and includes a Byington logo glass.
- Purchase a bottle of wine and your tasting is 1/2 price.
- Purchase two bottles and your tasting is free.
Wine by the Glass and Bottle
Our tasting room is a part of Byington Vineyard & Winery, a fully operational vineyard and winery. In addition to tastings every day, we also offer an array of wine by the glass and bottle. We offer a daily white wine special from 3-5 pm.
Eco Savings Wine Keg and Growlers-to-Go
In addition to our traditional wine by the glass and bottle sales, we pass on our Eco savings to you through our Wine Keg and Growler-to-Go program. Enjoy wine from our keg for $7 per glass. Purchase a 32-ounce (compared to the typical 24 ounce wine bottle) growler-to-go for $25 (Zinfandel) and $40 (Rose). Come back as often as you like for $15 and $25, respectively, refills-to-go.
Light Bites
We offer the following lite bites:
- Truffle oil mac & cheese
- Classic onion dip with fresh sour cream and potato chips
- Hummus and gluten free crackers and carrots
- Brie cheese and crackers and mixed nuts
- Prosciutto with Parmesan cheese and crackers
- Smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers, and crackers plates.
Prices range from $8 to $13.50 and may be shared. Pricing and availability subject to change.
Table Reservations
For groups of 10 or more, reservations are highly recommend. Reserve tables online. If you are a large group of up to 20 guests and do not need private space, we can reserve space for you with a pre-paid tasting for each guest. This allows for additional “standing room” should you have more guests; and any additional seating as available at arrival.
5@3 Special Every Day
Enjoy a glass of our ultra premium Alexander Valley Tin Cross Reserve Chardonnay for just $5 every day from 3-5 pm. Purchase a bottle for dinner at home or a local restaurant.
